CPL(H) INTEGRATED COURSE

COURSE OVERVIEW

This year we are launching our new integrated CPL(H)/IR course for students who want to learn to fly from scratch!

Students looking to become a pilot with no previous experience will be able to enrol onto our integrated CPL(H)/IR course and learn all the essential information needed to become a fully qualified pilot, with not only a CPL(H) twin-engine type rating but with an integrated instrument rating too!

We will also be offering an integrated CPL(H) course without an IR and a modular CPL(H) course.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

No Experience is necessary to apply
Have significant knowledge of mathematics and physics
Basic English proficiency written and verbal
Hold UK Class 1 Medical
Must be at least 18 years of age at application for licence

Pass a CPL(H) Skill Test

CPL(H) INTEGRATED COURSE CONTENT

Castle Air Academy’s integrated commercial pilot licence (helicopter) is 12 month full-time course for students looking to obtain a CPL(H) licence. The theoretical knowledge undertaken in the CPL(H) course will allow for the IR element to be completed as a modular course at a later date.

13 ATPL(H)/IR Examination fees
Radiotelephony practical test fee
Aircraft hire for the CPL(H) skill test
Examiner fees for the CPL(H) Skill test

Private pilot’s licence (PPL(H)) credits may be gained from a competent authority prior to training beginning, 50% of the relevant experience can be credited.

Up to a maximum of:
40 hours of which up to 20 hours may be dual instruction. 50 hours, of which up to 25 hours may be dual instruction if a helicopter night rating have been obtained.
