CPL(H)IR INTEGRATED COURSE

COURSE OVERVIEW

Entry Requirements

  • No Experience is necessary to apply.
  • Have significant knowledge of mathematics and physics.
  • Basic English proficiency written and verbal.
  • Hold UK Class 1 Medical.
  • Be at least 18 years of age at the course start date.

COURSE CONTENT

  • Castle Air Academy’s integrated CPL(H)/IR is a 15 month full-time course for students looking to obtain a CPL(H) licence with the inclusion of an instrument rating (IR/H).
  • Flying Training will be completed in our AW109E simulator and a variety of different aircrafts including Robinson R22 and Leonardo AW109E.
  • 180 Hours of flight training including dual, solo, spic and night flying.
  • 750 Hours of ATPL(H)/IR theoretical knowledge taught in ground school.

If credits are gained from a competent authority prior to training beginning 50% of the relevant experience will be credited. Up to a maximum of:

40 hours of which up to 20 hours may be dual instruction. 50 hours, of which up to 25 hours may be dual instruction if a helicopter night rating has been obtained.

CPL(H) INTEGRATED COURSE

The course can be completed without an integrated instrument rating.

12 Month full time course.

135 Hours of flight training.

750 Hours of theoretical knowledge instruction.

40 hours of which up to 20 hours may be dual instruction. 50 hours, of which up to 25 hours may be dual instruction if a helicopter night rating has been obtained.

Modular CPL(H)

We also offer a Modular CPL(H) course, which offers flexibility for students who have PPL(H) License looking to achieve their CPL(H).

Have completed 155 hours of Flight Time as a Pilot of Helicopters
