The Academy has an AW109E Helicopter Simulator on site which is a replica of the aircraft, used by Castle Air Academy which mirrors the switch gear and cockpit allowing a seamless transition from simulator to aircraft. Students are encouraged to use the simulator throughout their training for additional practice beyond course specification at no additional cost. ICAO Conversion and Military Instrument students in particular can benefit from this initiative due to the course being short.
